A native of Arizona, Erin attended the New School University in New York, where she received a B.A. in Writing. After a career in marketing and advertising in Hawaii, she relocated to New Mexico to be closer to family and attended the University of New Mexico School of Law. While in law school, she completed a judicial internship with former Chief Justice Judith Nakamura of the New Mexico Supreme Court and a judicial internship with the Honorable James O. Browning at the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico. She also served as the Manuscript Editor for the New Mexico Law Review. Erin began her legal career in civil defense litigation on behalf of state and local governments but also handled plaintiffs’ cases with civil rights, contract, and tort claims in federal and state courts.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, snorkeling, and traveling abroad
